Massachusetts Berkshires 2027

I'm so excited to share that I'm currently putting the finishing touches on what I believe will be a truly special Spiritual Artist Retreat in the beautiful Berkshires of western Massachusetts! If everything comes together as planned, we'll gather October 4–8, 2026, at The Thyme, a peaceful mountain retreat nestled beside the Appalachian Trail and surrounded by the breathtaking colors of New England in autumn.

When I first discovered this property, I immediately felt something special. Imagine spending your mornings painting in a quiet mountain setting, taking gentle walks beneath brilliant fall foliage, sharing meaningful conversations with fellow creatives, and allowing yourself the space to slow down, listen, and create from a place of presence. It feels like the perfect environment for everything we explore together as Spiritual Artists.

We're still finalizing a few details, including accommodations and pricing, but I wanted to let you know what's on the horizon. The Wizardry of Crystal Nelson

At the Spiritual Artist Retreat, I’m grateful to be joined by Crystal Nelson, a process-driven mixed media abstract artist whose work is inspired by texture, shape, and color. Based in the DFW area, Crystal studied printmaking and painting at the University of Texas at El Paso and brings a deep knowledge of collage, color theory, and layering techniques. Her expertise and supportive spirit enrich the retreat experience, helping participants explore new creative approaches while uncovering their own artistic voice.

Large Expressive Painting

CJ and Crys will guide you from small to large; starting with building your own sketchbook and finishing on large 36 x 36"canvas. You'll find your empowerment as an Artist.
